Sungailiat, Bangka Belitung (Antara Babel) - As many as 500 athletes from 17 countries will participate in the Triathlon Sungailiat 2017, which will be held on April 22 in Bangka district, Bangka Belitung province.
Head of Bangka's Tourism, Youth and Sports Office, Tony Marza, stated here on Wednesday (April 12) that the Sungailiat Triathlon 2017 is expected to be more attractive than the event held in 2016.
"Technically, we are ready. The infrastructures of the track for the participants, and the hotels for their stay are also ready," he noted.
Triathlon Sungailiat 2017 consists of three categories of swimming, biking, and running for long distance, standard, and sprint.
The foreign participants are from Algeria, Spain, Portugal, Britain, France, Denmark, and New Zealand.
