Jakarta (Antara Babel) - Presidential and vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa had arrived at the Constitutional Court building here on Friday night, to monitor their lawsuit registration over the dispute of the presidential election result.

Prabowo and Hatta were welcomed by their supporters who had been waiting for hours in front of the Constitutional Court building since the afternoon.

"We keep struggling to save the Republic of Indonesia. We want a true democracy and fairness, and we are willing to risk everything for justice," said Prabowo on his oration from his car's rooftop.

"Now, we are continuing our struggle through legal means, abiding by the constitution," he remarked.

The arrival of Prabowo and Hatta was to provide support to their legal team, so they did not enter the court's building.

Prabowo-Hatta only greeted their loyal supporters and then asked them to place their trust on the legal team.

"Our legal team has enough evidence, nearly one million documents and 52 thousand witnesses, so we move forward to the Constitutional Court," said Prabowo.

"Therefore, I ask you to keep calm, peacefully go home, and let us finish the fasting month decently, celebrate Idul Fitri decently and peacefully. After that, we will keep struggling to defend the Republic of Indonesia," emphasized Prabowo to his supporters.

Hatta Rajasa agreed with Prabowo, saying that the Red and White coalition behind their candidacy was expected to follow peaceful means through constitutional track for their struggle.

"Insyaallah (if God permits), justice will be enforced by the Constitutional Court. Therefore, let us leave it to the legal team, and I pray for nation's unity and progress," he said.

"Insyaallah, we all will pray in our house, and happy Idul Fitri," Hatta added.

Prabowo and Hatta were accompanied to the Constitutional Court by some members of the Red and White coalition, including Aburizal Bakrie (Golkar Party), Akbar Tandjung (Golkar Party), Hidayat Nur Wahid (Prosperous Justice Party), and Fadli Zon (Gerindra Party).

The chairman of Prabowo-Hatta's legal team, Firman Wijaya, said during the lawsuit registration that they had attached 52,000 recapitulation documents, known as C1 forms, and videos.

Firman noted that the lawsuit was addressing certain allegations of fraud, such as the use of legislative election for the presidential election and other structured, systematic, and massive violations.

The Prabowo-Hatta's legal team had demanded re-elections and vote re-counts in 52 thousand voting stations across Indonesia, including 5,800 vote stations in Jakarta.
