Jakarta (Antara Babel) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will hold an anti-corruption festival on December 10-11, 2015, coinciding with the commemoration of the International Anti-corruption Day, an official has stated.

"The world anti-corruption day (December 9) coincides with the simultaneous regional head elections on December 9, so the commemoration has been shifted to December 10-11, 2015 in Bandung. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will attend the event on December 10," Acting Deputy Chairman of KPK Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo said at a press conference at the KPK building here on Tuesday.

According to him, various communities and several ministries, NGOs, and state-owned enterprises will participate in the festival.

Johan Budi further said an anti corruption festival will not turn Indonesia instantly into a corruption-free country.

A number of activities will be organized during the festival, including parenting and anti-corruption, anti-corruption oration contest by the Muhammadiyah youth, and anti-corruption prayers.

In addition, KPK will also hold a national conference against corruption on December 3 which will also be attended by the President.
