PT Timah Tbk has once again sent off students and the public from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi who will be going home to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in the 2023 BUMN Joint Homecoming Program.

Hundreds of travelers who were facilitated by PT Timah Tbk were released by the Head of the CSR Division of PT Timah Tbk, Ebi Wibisana at the PT Timah Tbk Office in Jakarta, Sunday (16/4/2023).

The BUMN Minister Erick Thohir initiated the Homecoming Together with SOEs program, entitled 'Mudik Dinanti, Mudik Dihati', to help people who want to return to their hometowns.

PT Timah Tbk, which is a member of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, facilitated 1,000 travelers in the 2023 BUMN Joint Homecoming activities. Namely 600 travelers with destinations to Bangka Island, 250 destinations to Belitung Island and 150 destinations to Karimun Regency.

This TINS ??Coded Issuer also collaborates with the Bangka Student Association (ISBA), the Belitong Family Student Association (IKPB), and KPMKR (Riau Archipelago Student Families).

The general chairman of ISBA Jaya, Duta Darma Putra, said he was asked to appreciate PT Timah Tbk for facilitating students and the community so that they could go home and gather with their families in the momentum of Eid al-Fitr.

"I represent the community and fellow students feel grateful to PT Timah Tbk which has accommodated 1000 people to return to Bangka, Belitung and Karimun," he said.

According to him, this program really helps them to be able to return to their hometown.

"Our hope is that the free homecoming agenda can be held regularly because it becomes a friendly event between the community and fellow students so that they can stay together. PT Timah Tbk's homecoming together with BUMN, serving Bangka Belitung," he said.

In the same vein, IKPB administrator Muhammad Tunggal Rifat said that the homecoming program with BUMN facilitated by PT Timah Tbk was very helpful for them.

"Thank you to PT Timah Tbk for holding a free homecoming. We, as the people of Babylon, feel helped because we can reduce the cost of returning to our hometown to meet our beloved family," he said.
Likewise, one of the homecoming participants with PT Timah Tbk Restua Alam Sahada from Pangkalpinang said he took part in this free homecoming trip because usually the homecoming route is prioritized and he can stay in touch with other members of the public.

"Thank you to PT Timah Tbk for holding this free homecoming activity, especially for migrants especially during good months and good days," he said.

Senada Fajri from South Bangka hopes that this program can continue because it really helps the community.

"As immigrants and students, this program is very helpful. I hope this can be scheduled continuously because the enthusiasm of the community is quite high," he stated.
