Prabowo arrives at Kartanegara to summon deputy ministerial candidates

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President-elect Prabowo Subianto arrived at his residence at Jalan Kertanegara, here on Tuesday, with the continued agenda of summoning the deputy ministerial candidates.

He arrived at 12:46 local time in a white Toyota Alphard and got off in front of the entrance.

Prabowo greeted journalists in front of his residence without giving any information.

Meanwhile, Gerindra Party Executive Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad stated that Prabowo is scheduled to summon the candidates for deputy ministers and candidates for agency heads. The people to be called will be renominated according to Prabowo's considerations.

"I have not counted the number. However, since there are one or two nominated in one ministry, so there will be a lot," Dasco remarked.

He noted that the deputy ministers invited to attend at Kertanegara are professional figures. Political parties have also proposed the names of several professional figures, he added.

Earlier this week, 49 figures nominated as ministerial candidates were invited to meet President-elect Prabowo Subianto at his residence on Kertanegara IV, South Jakarta, on Monday (Oct 14).

They were called to be assigned to ministerial positions that Prabowo had prepared. The figures comprised politicians, academics, and ministers during the era of President Joko Widodo.
