Jakarta, June 14 (Antara) - Prabowo Subianto has made no special preparation for the presidential debate on Sunday, chief of the campaign team of the Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa ticket, Mahfud MD, said here on Saturday.
"There is no special program like training. But he has indeed prepared himself by not going anywhere, taking a good rest to keep himself fresh and healthy," Mahfud said at the Polonia House, which is the headquarters of the ticket.
Prabowo did not invite debate experts to train him, but just met with the success team members, he said.
"Just like that. He is not specially quarantined, but did not go anywhere for fear of possible flight delays that could disrupt everything," he said.
Prabowo knows what he has to do because he has been waiting for two years to become the president, he added.
There was a meeting at Prabowo's residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Saturday morning, but it was a routine meeting, he admitted.
In the debate on Sunday evening, Prabowo would present his vision and mission relating to social and economic development and problems faced by the country and their solutions, he said.
"Prabowo is very confident," he said, adding that in the previous debate he was also successful. He said it was only Metro TV and Tempo daily who said he was not successful, while several observers and professionals said Prabowo was better.
