Pangkalpinang, Babel, April 19 (Antara) - Anti drug police squad have arrested three drug traffickers in separate places in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung (Babel).
"The three were arrested in different places with 24 grams of methamphetamine," Pangkapinang police chief Adj. Comr Budi Prasetyo said here on Wednesday.
Budi said police first arrested BA (26), a civil servant from Air Itam, Pangkalpinang on Tuesday. Police seized a small package of drug , a hand phone and a Honda Jazz car from BA, who worked at a government office in Bangka Belitung .
BA told his investigators that he received the drug from a man identified as SS , who later picked up by police from Cafe Ayu at Jalan Toniwen, Pangkalpinang. Police confiscated four packages of methamphetamine, a hand phone and a scale.
Police also arrested another suspect GA (23) from Jalan Suka Damai and confiscated a small package of drug.
