Jakarta (Antaranews Babel) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma airport here on Thursday moring for Bandung for a one-day work visit to West Java.
Presidential Secretariat Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media, Bey Machmudin, remarked in a release that the president and his entourage arrived at Bandung's Husein Sastranegara Airport at 8:05 a.m. Western Indonesia Standard Time (WIB).
From the airport, President Jokowi was flown in a Super Puma military helicopter to Tarumajaya village, Kertasari Sub-district in Bandung district.
In Tarumajaya village the president will plant a tree to mark the start of the revitalization of Citarum river, and then to return to Bandung city to oversee the health services in a hospital.
After that, the head of state will give directives to the participants of the Association of Provincial Governments throughout Indonesia (APPSI) National Working Meeting, before departing for I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali in the afternoon for a work visit.
During the trip, President Jokowi is accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Presidential Advisory Council Member Agum Gumelar, Chief of Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Special Staff Sukardi Rinakit, and presidential security guard chief Major General Suhartono, among others.
